The people being executed in this video are believed to be residents of Bama, Borno state who refused to swear allegiance to Boko Haram and their brand of Islam.
They were taken to Bama Prison, thrown into a prison block and massacred sometime around November, 2014.
At the end of the video, the narrator, a young Boko Haramite (wearing a yellow kaftan and clutching an AK-47) who couldn't be older than 16-17 gives justification for the massacre he had just participated in.

The land that Allah has brought us to is the town named Bama.
It is Allah that has given us the chance and the choice.
Allah SWT **he speaks arabic** In the beginning due to an oversight by the prophet Mohammedd during a battle, he gathered prisoners and Allah SWT warned the prophet against such.
At the time the prophet came with the prisoners he gathered, Saidina Umar advised that they be killed while Saidina Abubakar advised that the prisoners be listened to in order to see reason with/understand them.
And the prophet SAW went with Abubakar's counsel.
And then Allah warned the prophet SAW and said to him **arabic**.. against such.
As for us, time to hold prisoners and feed them has not come.
We will kill till the land is red with blood and then we can decide if we want to keep those still alive as prisoners.
And as for now, wherever we go, we shall kill, slaughter and scatter.
That is our job.
Because of the covenant we have with Allah we cannot live with unbelievers on the same land.
Except we die in heaven and they die in the grave or they die die *inaudible* and we die in the grave because we cannot co-exist together as one. *chants of Allahu Akbar*
Also the message to our people in the whole world. This work we are doing, do not believe the talk that we are killing our own (believers).
These people are not believers.
Allah SWT that created said **arabic**
There are 2 sets of people, believers and unbelievers.
He didn't say there are believers, unbelievers and the rest( pagans, atheist).
It is either you are a muslim(believer) or non-muslim(unbeliever) **arabic**
Either you an upright person/believer or you are an unbeliever.
These people we have killed refused to believe and wanted to remain as unbelievers so we killed them..
It is Allah who gave us the go ahead to kill them as you have seen..
