The fire rocked the popular Labaowo Market, Ogunpa in Ibadan, Oyo State, it left traders in anguish after a section of the market was ravaged.
Many traders lost all their wares as there was not much that could be done to salvage some of their belongings. They gathered and wailed uncontrollably as fire engulfed their means of livelihood.
The market went up in flames around 10:00am after an inflammable product caught fire. Millions of Naira were lost in the fire.
