Islamist Sect Boko Haram has struck again in Nigeria, this time, they hit Maiduguri a major northeastern city around midnight on Sunday. Reports suggest fierce fighting is taking place on the outskirts of the city and the military is carrying out airstrikes. Maiduguri would be a major prize for the militants as they attempt to impose an Islamic state. Sunday’s attack would be the third time Boko Haram has committed religious violence there.
